1. Definition
   • PVC profiles refer to profiles with various special cross-sectional shapes such as non-circular and non-square shapes, which are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the main raw material through extrusion and other molding processes. Their shapes are complex and diverse, not simply in the form of rods, plates or tubes.
2. Characteristics of Raw Materials

3. Molding Process
   • Extrusion Molding Process: First, the PVC raw materials are evenly mixed with various additives (such as stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, etc.) according to a certain formula. The functions of these additives are different. Stabilizers can prevent PVC from decomposing due to factors such as heat and light during the processing and use; lubricants can reduce the friction between the materials and the processing equipment, making the extrusion process smoother; fillers can change the physical properties of the profiles, such as increasing the hardness. Then the well-mixed materials are sent into the extrusion machine. In the extrusion machine, the materials are pushed forward by the rotation of the screw, and at the same time, they are gradually plasticized and melted under the action of heating. Finally, they are extruded through a mold with a specific shape, and after cooling and shaping, the PVC profiles are obtained.
